1. Agreement

By using decidemymovie.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

2. What the service is

DecideMyMovie helps you decide what to watch. You describe a mood, describe a half-remembered film, or let the site pick at random, and it suggests titles along with where they are currently available to stream in your region.

The service is provided free of charge. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

4. Film data and accuracy

Film information, artwork, ratings and streaming availability come from The Movie Database (TMDB) and its contributors. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Availability changes constantly and licensing varies by country. We do our best to show what is accurate right now, but we cannot guarantee that a title is still streaming where you are, or that every detail is correct. Recommendations are suggestions, generated in part by automated systems, and are offered without any promise that you will enjoy the result.

5. Intellectual property

All film titles, posters, backdrops, trailers, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They appear here for identification and reference only. DecideMyMovie is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any film studio or streaming service.

The site’s own design, text and code remain ours. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without permission.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest the site or our API.
• Send automated or excessive requests that degrade the service for other people.
• Attempt to break, probe, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the system.
• Use the service to break the law, or to help anyone infringe copyright.
• Submit abusive, misleading, or deliberately harmful content through our forms.

If you find a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to admin@decidemymovie.com rather than exploiting or publishing it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.

7. Your watchlist

Your watchlist is currently tied to an anonymous identifier stored in your browser. That means it will not follow you to another device or browser, and clearing your browser data will erase it. We are not able to recover a watchlist lost this way, so please do not treat it as permanent storage.

8. Third-party links

When you follow a link to a streaming service, YouTube, or any other external site, you leave DecideMyMovie and become subject to that site’s own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

9. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will suit your taste.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DecideMyMovie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including lost data, a wasted evening, or a film you disliked. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
